    Liberation Day is a five piece, post-punk / indie outfit from Manchester, NH. Starting off as a dark-wave punk band, their sound has evolved into a sonically lush, audio-stimulating experience filled with splashy, echo-drenched melodies. Ranging from throbbing rhythms and superficial banter all the way to more atmospheric and sentimental material. Mixing post-modern esque synthesizers and obsolete machinery with retro-flared guitars that could be considered almost romantic. All with noticeable influences ranging from post-punk and goth of the 80's, to the girl groups of the 60's all the way to modern electro. A large factor in their sound is not just musical experimentation but also sonic experimentation. Working with a large array of vintage, modified and custom built instruments, effects and amplifiers to achieve tones and atmospheres that are uncommon and unique. Filled with splashy, echo-drenched melodies, dance beats and pop-sensibilities. Mixing modern technology and machinery of synthesizers and sequencing with retro-flared guitars that could be considered almost surf. All with noticeable influences ranging from post-punk and goth of the 80's, to the girl groups of the 60's all the way to modern electro. They have just finished recording their full-length album which will be out in the next months, also check out their EP "London Dry".
