Im participating in the 4th Annual St.Baldricks Day hosted by Shady Katies Pub in Somerdale, NJ on March 1. St. Baldricks is the ORIGINAL head shaving charity for cancer.The volunteers shave their heads in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting support in the form of donations from family and friends.I havent cut my hair since before New Years, and Im letting it grow until the event. And if youre wondering, my bald spot looks more and more prominent (and worse) as my hair grows. Thanks.The day includes specials, a live radio remote, face painters (some people got their bald heads painted- do you know how much of a donation it takes in exchange for a hardcore Eagles fan to get the Cowboys logo painted on their head? The easiest and quickest way to make a donation is online via the secure website. Just go to www.stbaldricks.org, at the top right of the page click the green "Find a Participant" button, then in the blue "Search for a Partcipant" area type my name "Todd Burnside", then click the "Go" button. A picture of me (dressed as Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds) should come up. Underneath the picture click "Donate Now", then simply enter your information. The whole process takes no longer than a minute or two, and the money makes it directly to the foundation's accounts. You can leave the donation in your own name, or in honor of someone you've lost to cancer. Thank you in advance for a ny and all donations.
