With fourteen years of dedication to music, Lica is now prepared to put out her first and, very special one, solo record coming out ..till the end of 2007. Among the songs that will be on the record are "Crazy Family" (featuring German rappers Mr. Nice and Wus, "Amor" (featuring Vanessa) and the tribute to the night life style, " A Noite" .
All this after being part and touring Brazil with the all-female rap group La Bella Mafia and having recorded an album with the band Groove James.
Alongside with music, Lica also keeps an intense social work. In 2006, for example, she gave rap workshops in the middle of the Amazon rain forest for the Native Brazilian. Lica is part of the Cemina NGO, promoting events for the end of violence against women. For Cemina Lica recorded "Mulheres do Hip Hop Pelo Fim da Vilolência Contra a Mulher" (Hip Hop Girls for the end of violence against women), as the result of a workshop for 40 women involved in hip hop culture from all over Brazil. This work with Cemina culminated with UNO..s fund for eradication of violence against women, Unifem, inviting her to perform at the UNO..s headquarters in NYC in February of 2007. This event was celebrating 10 years of Unifem..s struggle for the cause and Lica was there representing the women of Latin America.
Her solo career is recent, but a very prolific one. Lica has shared the stage and/or recorded with big names of rap music, such as Afrika Bambaataa (USA), Racionais (Brazil), Seven Lox (Guinea-Bissau), Marcelo D2 (Brazil), Mister Nice & Triple Finger (Germany), Tiro de Gracia (Chile), Beastie Boys (USA), Taz (Switzerland) e Cholly (Canada). In 2006, she won the Hutúz Awards ( Brazilian Hip Hop Awards) for the best female rap and went to Germany, invited by the City of Dortmund and FIFA, to perform in FIFA..s World Cup 2006.

Com 14 anos de dedicação à música, Lica prepara-se para lançar seu primeiro disco solo, que deve sair ainda este ano e é muito especial. Entre as canções que integram o CD, está "Crazy Family", uma parceria com o rappers Germânicos. (gravado durante a turnê da Copa do Mundo - Alemanha 2006), "Amor" e uma homenagem a seu estilo de vida "A Noite"
Isto acontece depois de ter integrado o grupo de rap feminino La Bella Máfia, com a qual rodou o Brasil e chegou a concorrer no Prêmio Hutuz – o mais importante do país na categoria Hip Hop, e a banda Groove James.
Paralelamente à música, Lica mantém um trabalho social intenso. Em 2006, por exemplo, ministrou workshops para descendentes indígenas de Rondônia, em plena Amazônia. Também faz parte da ONG Cemina, que promove eventos pelo fim da violência contra a mulher e, através da qual, Lica gravou o disco "Mulheres do Hip Hop Pelo Fim da Violência Contra a Mulher", resultado de um workshop com 40 mulheres envolvidas com o Hip Hop de todos os cantos do Brasil. No entanto, a grande realização da cantora veio quando foi convidada a representar a América Latina no evento que comemorou os 10 anos da Unifem, órgão da ONU que luta pelo fim da violência contra a mulher, que ocorreu em fevereiro de 2007, em Nova York (EUA).
Em sua recente carreira solo, Lica já contabiliza inúmeros acontecimentos. Já dividiu o palco e gravou músicas com grandes nomes do rap, como Afrika Bambaataa (EUA), Racionais (BRA) Ultramen (BRA), Seven Lox (AFR), Marcelo D2 (BRA), Mister Nice & Triple Finger (Alemanha), Tiro de Gracia (Chile), Beastie Boys (USA), Taz (Suiça)e Cholly (Canadá) Lica também levou o prêmio Hutúz 2006, na categoria rap feminino e foi convidada da Cidade de Dortmund e da Fifa para ser uma das atrações da Copa do Mundo, em 2006, que ocorreu na Alemanha.
