    After playing in different Rock Bands, I started Lichtenberg as a solo electronic music project in 1997. The first album „Music for refreshing the systems" was recorded in my homestudio on a four-track-tape-recorder and released in the end of 1997 by the label „Plag dich nicht". The music is a mix of experimental style and pop sound with guitars. All tracks are based on drum'n'bass. After touring with a VJ through Austria and Germany I produced a second album with the title „Vacation". "Klein Records" released it in 1999. The sound of this album has an even more experimental approach but also a touch of pop. ( This time with harddisk recording! ). The third album „Five Lives" was released in 2000. Guitars characterise the sound of the album, however, some of the titles are melancholic pop songs. Lichtenberg developed in its varieties to a band sound. For this reason, I have founded a band in 2001 with bass, drums, guitar and electronics. The following album called „Flimmern" was recorded in a studio. Noisy rock sound with electronic influences and German lyrics built the spirit of the album and "Pate Records" released it in 2003. After promoting this album, we took a time out for three years. During this time, I composed music for feature movies, documentaries and other bands (e.g. Trio Exklusiv). I also toured and performed with them. In 2006, I started composing for Lichtenberg again. The title of the new album is „Don't let them down" and is released in 2007 by my own label „Schiff Ahoi* Schallplatten". Great guestsingers contributed to the new album , for example ,Eva Jantschitsch / gustav, Oliver Welter / Naked Lunch, Markus Binder / Attwenger. The result is a pop album with different styles due to the different contributions of the guestsingers. "Don't let them down" indicate the 10th anniversary of Lichtenberg.
