| About Lick Club |
Lick is a queer all inclusive night club lounge located at 455 Abbott Street(at Pender) in downtown Vancouver. Since its opening over pride in 2003, Lick has provided the community with endless fundraisers and awareness programs for such organizations as Youth Co. AIDS Society, The Vancouver Dyke March, Vancouver Independent Writers Festival, Vancouver SPCA, Friends For Life Society, The Queer Film Festival, Hummingbird Kids Society, along with countless top surgery fundraisers and various community needs benefits.
We are proud to have showcased some of Vancouvers finest Talent in including DJ's De Lux(D Vibes), Betti Forde(Stacked), Revoked(Blackcard Productions), T(Blackcard/Hoodie) and entertainers DAXX(Entertainer of the Year'05,Smirnoff Ice King'04),Buttah(1st ever King of Celebrities, Prince Royale'#33), Rayne(Drag King Vancouver 05), Cazzwell( Drag King Vancouver'06), Woody(Drag King Vancouver'07)... To name a few.
