the band formed about 6 years ago. we have been through many members. we all met at carlaw music school/ music store. and we have just managed to keep it together eventhough we have new members joining every few years, but justin our lead singer is the only original member and all the credit is giving to him for starting the band up. well altho the band has had many names (usually changed at each show) we decided to change it permenately to entropy. the definition of entropy is:The tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve toward a state of inert uniformity. or the inevitable and steady deterioration of a system or society. At the time that we made this decision it became very real to us that entropy was in the air and that well hey thats a damn good band name for us... thats what our music is usually about or sounds like. Justin(vocals, lead/ rhythm guitar) - orginal and founder of the band. he has been playing music longer then he can remember and has been in many many bands including millenium and gage. he is an amazing guitarist and has an amazing voice and was nicknamed eddie after eddie vedar because he sounded so much like him.
chris(rhythm/lead guitar) - wonderfully fluent guitarist. he had been going to carlaw for years and now teaches there. when he joined out band he was also in 2 others but i cant remember wut they were called hah he joined the band almost 3 years ago now.
stephen(drums) - stephan joined the band the 2 years ago and out all of the drummers we have been through he is deffinately the best and deffiantely the youngest in our band but we love him and hes amazing we say hes a keeper
tarin(bass) - i joined the band one year after it was formed i used to date justin and altho i am originally a cello player i just happened to have a bass floating around when the original bass player took off to europe for 6 months without telling anyone lol but i love being in the band and i think we are great.

Hi there Entropy first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
