About me: Ricky Briggs has performed stand up, sketch comedy, stage, film & television since 1999. He has entertained in Los Angeles, Houston, Austin, Lafayette, New Orleans, New York & Orlando. Briggs has been a member of Acting Up in Acadiana since 2003. He co-founded the sketch comedy group Skit Happens in October of 2005. Briggs also serves as an acting coach for Summer Youth Shakespeare Ensemble. He enjoys using his comedic talents to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis (which he has suffered from since birth). To date Briggs has raised over $7000 for Cystic Fibrosis.
