LICT, rises up from the depths of hell in the late 1980's early 90's with the help of some good friends and enemies.
TIME LINE:
1990-91 - BEER RUN is compiled and released
Lict performs solo gigs throught 1991
1992-93 - Lict makes first onstage appearence with a band
Guest singing at a Soberphobics gig.
Lict teams up with instrumental group Bile
To record the improvisational noise classic Experience the Pain.
Lict/Bile debuts live @ Gorst skate ramp summer '92
Lict begins recording songs that will end up on the
Ultimate Sacrifice.
1994-95 - Ultimate Sacrifice is finished and Lict plays a series of shows,
Including the infamous "anybody ever been raped?!" gig.
The band starts work on Army of Sexual Freaks. 4 songs from
These sessions are used for a 7" single.By this time the live shows
Have become legendary. As a result Lict plays more and
Takes another year to finish 'Army'.
1995 - Death is a Tool 7" single is released
1996 - Army of Sexual Freaks is released and more gigs follow.The
Crossdresser Tour starts off strong but loses momentum quickly.
Lict & number3 start doing demos with other musicians to get a
Fresh perspective on the Lict sound.
1997-98 - The original Lict band returns to the stage to record a series
Of shows for possible use on the deluxe version of 'Army'.
Many of the songs were remixed and partially re-recorded for
This expanded version. Although the band was at their peak live
And the Lict frenzy was at it's zenith the band decided to slow
It down after the legendary 'Fireparty' gig March 2nd 1998.
Little did they know, they would not play together again.
2000 - Years of hardcore drinking takes it toll, Lict gives up drinking.
2007-08 - Nine years after the last show,Lict & number3 decide to record
Again,this time it's just the two of them re-recording the best
Showstoppers of the Lict arsenal with a devilish twist.
2008 - During a video interview, Lict hits the bottle again to save a bad
Performance and is re-hooked on expensive Porter's/Ale's.
