Everything Is Illuminated is absolutely amazing. It is definitely my favorite movie by far. I laughed, I cried, I told all of my friends about it. See it. Do it. Do it. Across The Universe. Slam. Stardust. Aeon Flux. I like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind a lot, Dune & Children of Dune... Princess Bride... Office Space... Alien Dreamtime... Grandma's Boy (mostly just the robot dude), Im Juli (In July), Mirrormask, V for Vendetta, Garden State & I can't think of anything else right now. Ah yes, Diet For a New America is also a seat-gripping must-see... and Zeitgeist.

My name is Beth and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with my husband Jasper and our dog Hazelnut. I do massage therapy and work at a health food store. I love the mountains here in Colorado~ hiking, skiing, camping~ hanging out, dancing... I love my family~ I have a sister Kat, a little brother Charlie, (the 'in-loves') and mi hermano de sangre, Jimmy (currently elsewhere in the galaxy, hurtling quickly this direction), the folks, and my grandmother (now here in spirit) are all here in town. My husband and I are vegan. (We like animals.) I'm interested in health, making music, dancing, meeting incredible people, going on amazing adventures, and having a wonderful time while I'm here. In the moment... on the planet... I am a red self-existing dragon according to the contemporary Mayan 13-moon 'calendar' (www.tortuga.com) and a good ole 69 sun sign according to common? astrology. I've lived in Colorado most of my life, and spent a good chunk of time travelling~ Rainbow Gatherings in Florida, Mississippi!, Louisiana, Michigan, Colorado, and Hawaii?... driving around the west coast, studying live-food nutrition in Puerto Rico and Arizona, and a family trip to Europe. (Can you say meltdown, children?) (No really, it was fun, aside from the crazy guy doing coke and the other crazy guy who screamed at my brother in the train station in some random foreign language, not to mention the OTHER crazy guy who decided he loved me and followed my family onto the eurail... THAT was a memorable vacation!)
I am currently 'going to school' at a distance to get a Masters Degree in Spiritual Live Food Nutrition at a groovy little place called the Tree of Life in Arizona. I'm also learning to play the guitar (and not just air guitar!), and pondering ways to save up enough money to buy land in Hawaii for a healing retreat community/ center... and to buy a Hearse to convert to run on waste vegetable oil. (The latter probably sooner than the former.) Ja.
