About me: Awaken your inner funk with Utah Symphony & Opera’s Vivace: a funkified bunch of 20, 30, 40 somethings—single/partnered/married—who just happen to get their groove on to classical music and opera.
Vivace is your musical friend...with benefits. When you swankify your life with Vivace, you'll party with the hottest and funnest peeps in town, our conductors, the opera casts, and symphony guest artists, many whom are the hottest stars of classical music today. See our pics of past after-parties, or scroll down to the slideshow below.
Who I'd like to meet: Vivace likes people who live their lives funkified. Vivace peeps like to go to galleries, see random music shows, go to clubs, basically just have fun.
Singles/Parterned/Married are all welcome!
The best part about Vivace: come alone, come with friends, or come with the love of your life. However you get there, you’ll leave funkified. Check out the blog to find out more about our next event.

The Salt Lake Art Center is pleased to present an evening with Gaylen Hansen on Gallery Stroll, Friday, March 21st at 6:30 p.m. Hansen will present the slide talk, "Creatively Speaking: A Kernal of Truth,"
Hansen’s large, boldly colored canvases depict a fanciful world based on the rural settings of Hansen's youth in Utah and his current home in southeastern Washington state. His paintings are humorous and dreamlike, populated by animals, insects, trout, and, his alter-ego, a cowboy named Kernal Bentleg.
Admission to the Art Talk and Galleries is always FREE.
Saturday, January 26, is the last day of the Salt Lake Art Center’s exhibitions SF Recycled and Masters of West Coast Assemblage and Collage. These two amazing shows feature art created from objects that would have been sent to landfills. The artists truly turn one man’s trash into another man’s treasure. Make sure to check them out before they leave.
