About me:

I'm usually too busy reading about some random subject to update much. Yes, I know I need new pictures, I'll update them later. I am back living in the Milwaukee area, where I grew up, after living near St. Louis for about a year. I have to say that I am happy to be back and seeing some of my old friends. I grew up in Milwaukee and often thought that everywhere else seemed better than here, and now feel that for now this is the actual best place for getting closer to my personal goals. I can usually be found reading, on my computer, or wasting my own time by playing World of Warcraft. (note, my computer does not fit the new WoW patch, and I've been so busy doing other fun things, or just working, that WoW has been shelved for now, at least until I can get a new computer, although I miss some of my old guild mates in the game) I read a lot about political issues, psychology, social issues, science, history, various religions and spiritual practices or whatever catches my interest for the given moment. I care deeply for the human rights of people in our own country as well as the rest of the world. I also read a bit of poetry and fiction on occasion, but has to be something fairly interesting as far as fiction goes to hold my attention. The poets I've read the most of would have to be Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Bukowski. I have times when I can be incredibly shy and at a loss for words, but then again with certain people, certain situations, or certain subjects I can go on and on. I can be an extremely opinionated person but have learned to at least try to shut my mouth when it's innappropriate to do so. This doesn't mean my opinions changed, only that I've may choose not to state it on occasions. I've always been incredibly inspired by music throughout my life. I play guitar, have had a band although we didn't last long, and still play a bit now and then. Eventually I would like to buy the equipment to write and play music again, even if just for fun. I still always love playing and finding new music. I'm also a skeptical agnostic. I believe there are plenty of forces beyond what science has discovered and perhaps some that science can never discover. Although I do look with a skeptical eye, I believe that there are some things to be learned from some spiritual followings, always try to keep a somewhat open mind. If you use religion to make yourself a better person, help other people and better the world, I might like you. If you use it to condemn other people, be holier than though, or use it to justify other horrible acts or even start wars, I probably won't very much.
