DJ Fabrício Peçanha, DJ Leozinho and the Drumsinker Rodrigo Paciornik are the “Life is a Loop” group.

Coming from the south of Brazil, they put together the decks, the CDJ players, and a mix set of drums and percussion for one of the most interesting electronic groups in Brazil.

HISTORY

The “Life is a Loop” project had formally started in Curitiba initially to celebrate the 1000th live performance of the union between Rodrigo Paciornik and DJ Leozinho. They used to play together just for fun and as more as they play some bookings started to appear and soon, they put on their name on the market. It didn’t take that long. They got the 1000Th live act.

This party was in a farm near by the country side of Curitiba. Funny fact is that in the arena next to the mais stage, there was a DJ both dedicated to reveal new DJ talents. In this very same party, Bonde do Role’s Rodrigo Gorski DJ was performing. He was select among between some other 50 DJs to play there. Bonde is these days one of the most popular groups outside Brazil. Some very special energy was blessing the artists involved in this party.

VISUAL ID

Always bringing besides the music and the artist performance, they also have an exclusive visual identity that matches with their live show: paper bumps, laser, screen projections, and a whole pack full of special effects are part of the performance that always bring a really strong surprise effect profile. Their live show brings also a sequence of images that are planned to be projected on the screen but not exactly synked to the music but planned to be followed by their music in some moments. This is the true spirit of “Life is a Loop”: One at the time, one member of the group leads the music as a challenge to the others. The result is always different but people’s reaction are always the same; Joy, happiness and celebration.

LIFE IS GOOD:

DJ LÉOZINHO is a progressive specialist. He started his career when he was back from London from a trip he took with some others DJ friends to buy records. Electronic music scene was starting to grow there. Back to Curitiba, he entered a national DJ contest called: Phillips Expression in which had it’s finals based on Maresias sirena’s night club: the glamour sea side nightclub of São Paulo. No need to mention he won the contest...

Nowadays he has one contagious DJ set where he translates most intrepid vibe into progressive and sexy sounds. He had played with some DJ legends as Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha & John Digweed

RODRIGO PACIORNIK is a drumsynker. His work mixes some techinics from the Drum Playing and the percussion Playing. He started to play when he was 6 years old. He used to still the pans and cans of his mother to create his very own set of drums. So he was given a real set of drums which he still has today.

He started going to drum classes on an institute , soon he went to German to have more classes and join some workshops. He played along with DJ Dag (Berlin), Mark Sinclair, Mathew Bushwaka! & Quiet Man.

FABRÍCIO PEÇANHA is from Porto Alegre. He started to work with music really soon in the beginning of the 90’s. He has also joined a DJ tournament and was elected the bets DJ in Rio Grande Do Sul state.

Influenced by the stars who were starting to shine around the world inside dance music scene he had soon realized his way into music was unavoidable.

Nowadays he is the most known House DJ in Brazil. His is also one of the most booked DJ in Brazil. His itineraries include Biggest clubs in Brazil and South America. He has released a CD last year and is about to finish his first album.
