Lifeline Collective had great success with "Cry for the Earth" which came off the 2005 EP by the group. They're back now with a new CD for 2009 which changes the game in several areas.
Lifeline Collective first changed their name from Lifeline, and have a more refined sound, which is heavier, and less of the melodic/R&B edge which came off the first release.
We decided to get heavier and aggressive and truly explore the roots of metal we love, which is thrash, hardcore, and heavy metal.
It's obvious with the new opening song "WITHOUT LOVE" that this is not your typical R&B vocal over a rock hook, even-though Lifeline still plans on using that formula for two songs on the CD. Most of the CD will be heavier and closer to the bands we truly like.
Lifeline Plans on releasing single after single until the album is done, this way to give the public a preview of their new album, and get the hype up. The music industry rarely ever does this, but book publishers, etc do this, and it increasing interest, and that's Lifeline Collectives Plans. To date they have released "WITHOUT LOVE" and "Retribution". The next songs slated are a re-make of "Cry For The Earth" with a surprise vocalist and "ONLY HUMAN".
Williamson ensures that this will be a full band and not a solo effort which the 2005 EP was more of. Were all going to take a part in the writing , and create a great product, which the public will love.
The final CD will have a dual format the light side, and the heavier side. I think that will truly ensure that we reachout to all of our fans, and make Lifeline Collective known to a wider audience, quotes Williamson.
Saving Souls from Hell is about reaching into the flames of hell and reaching out to dying souls. Like nelly said, "Its getting hot up in here".
