About me:
Life Listening Resources, based in Rochester, New York, helps people listen to life to be more spiritually-centered, compassionate, respectful, empowered, and integrated. We empower them to engage in LifeListening™ practices that will change the energy of their lives and create safe places for people to live and work. These practices are centering, awareness, empathy, assertiveness, emotional maturity, connecting, story-telling, reframing, creative imagination, and nonviolent engagement. We also teach and encourage people to use other resources as they engage in these practices that can augment their effectiveness. Walking the labyrinth, practicing Reiki, understanding who we are through the Enneagram, cultivating communication and conflict transformation skills, and engaging in spirituality practices—these are all part of the full picture of Life Listening Resources.Through a major program of our organization, Project Empower, we seek to change the world one woman at a time by changing the energy within, between, and around. As we learn holistic practices and experience community, we cross the barriers that keep us from authentic living and gain the skills, confidence, and strength to achieve our goals. Holistic practices of healing and growth include deep listening, assertiveness, laughter, walking the labyrinth, journaling, creative arts, and Reiki (a form of energy healing). As we engage in these practices together, we form deep connections, giving support to each other through presence individually and in groups. And as we work toward the challenge of breaking the poverty code, we connect women with needed services they often cannot find alone. When you visit our websites, you can sign up for our online magazine and we will send you articles to help you listen to life and be empowered to live into your full potential.
