I am 100% behind this project. It’s so sad that we live in a better life while the kids over there (Cambodia) are starving and struggling in their lives. It has to be done! I am glad to be  apart of this project. It starts growing bigger and bigger and I am sure that’s going to be a huge message that open many eyes —Anne M. Robbs

We waste so much, while they have so little. That needs to change, and you are capable of making it happen. I believe in you personally, as well as in your mission. Keep up the good work! I am convinced that you are the only person who could achieve this, and that the “forgotten” children of Cambodia could not have a better champion than you. —Corrin J. Green

I believe in you as well as the project. I’m here to help and I’m here to protect you from anything or anyone to try and break you down. Love ya! —Murphy Little

Please don’t let anything to stop you! This is going to be great because you have many good people behind you. We’re here to help and we are going to bring a new hope to those children. —Ursular Nadi

Once you meet the director of the LIFE Movie and learn all she's gone through to get the message out and save the desperate children of Cambodia, you can't help but admire her and dive into her project to make her dream happen. She's not only talented, but her dream is unselfish - something you don't often come across in these trying times. —Stacey Goitia

I think that most everyone involved in the LIFE Movie, feel a deep interconnectedness to the mission that the LIFE project has. We in America hear stories of corruption abroad in foreign countries, however most often if we ourselves have not been to the country to see the corruption for ourselves... it doesn't move you, it doesn't inspire you to make a change. Thoreau had a similar comparison when he said that "There are thousands who are in opinion opposed to slavery and to the war, who yet in effect do nothing to put an end to them; who, esteeming themselves children of Washington and Franklin, sit down with their hands in their pockets, and say that they know not what to do, and do nothing...". Our director, CCR, is someone who grew up without pockets to put her hands in. It wasn't a matter of do nothing, turn the other cheek and let the corruption to continue to happen because she could do nothing about it. Our director was involved in the heart of the corruption, it wasn't an option to simply put her hands in her pockets. I know we all have missions and a purpose in LIFE, whether it's to make one person smile, write a book, be an upstanding person, play one song, act out one performance, change the LIFE of one child in Cambodia, or to be a part of a project that brings awareness to what LIFE is like in a country where, to survive, you can no longer simply put your hands in your pockets and do nothing. A change is immanent and CCR has a mission, the passion, the man power, the belief and most importantly the faith to do so.

My experience of Cambodia was one of beauty shrouded in corruption. Children, masses of children cover the cities... they beg for money or food, some have missing limbs because the active land mines that still cover the country. Some would sell pirated movies or old books, jewelry. Outside of the city on more than one experience we passed through a small town/village where groups of naked children with orange hair from malnutrition would run next to your cart, jump on while it's moving and beg for anything, anything at all. Inside you want to give them the clothes off your back and give everything and anything you have, the guilt and sadness yearns for you to do something... And I imagine you do see some of this in most of the developing countries in the world. Yet there is corruption I didn't see... children either born or sold into sexual slavery. Something I truly believe we are not meant to fully understand, but meant to help stop and fix! Cambodia is a majestic and beautiful country, it's natural wonders leave you breathless, as does it's corruption. With the proceeds going towards creating a change in Cambodia; The LIFE project will help un-shroud the corruption that covers this majestic country by delivering a message and bringing awareness to thousands through the LIFE movie and through YOU!

Please take your hands out of your pockets and join hands with us in making a difference through the LIFE Movie! —Mackenzie Knapp

The LIFE project has been one the best experiences of my "LIFE." Being able to work with a wonderful  team both the cast and crew, knowing we are working as hard as we can to make a difference for these innocent children in Cambodia. That is the best feeling in the world, and also having met CCR one of the most humble and hard working producer. She is a good friend, mentor and helper, she helped us all out with our scenes and trained us any chance she got, that is something a producer will not waste their time on and for the I am very grateful. Every time we are rehearsing or shooting for the film I hate that it has to end because we are having so much fun and at the same time helping children. It is such a wonderful feeling when you're trying to make a difference and at the same time acting one of my passions of LIFE. I can't wait until the final project is complete and see how many children we will help. We will not give up on this project "LIFE" is the best. —Cosmos Antonio- Paolo Cesar

t is an honor to be apart of this project and movie we call “LIFE.” Life will always be though. It’s the hardest thing we will every have to accomplish. At times we all struggle; however, some struggle more than others. I have gone through tough times throughout my entire life, but my struggles could never compare to the children of Cambodia. Cambodia’s children are the byproduct of years of civil war and genocide thus become orphans and children of the streets, and not only are these children left to fend for themselves, savaging through trash, but also they are forced into and exploited in the illegal commercial sex trade of children. This is very sad and it must change.

In addition, this not just another film, this is a film with a message, a purpose, a greater cause, and I am proud to be apart of it. I hope our message will open the eyes of not only our audience, but also hopefully the entire world. It’s horrible to see an adult homeless and on any streets; however, than man or woman made their own choices in life, but these children of Cambodia never had a chance to make choice. There are more children in the streets of Cambodia than tears I could shed. I am an adult with children of my own, and these orphaned children have experience more than I have my entire life. They are forced to deal with situation, I could not bear to imagine, and it’s completely unfair. If we all stand up and join our assets, we can make a difference. I’m contributing to change by being apart of them film. It is a blessing! How about you? —Kenjo LaChapelle

Dear CCR,

I cannot thank you enough for what you’re doing. I honestly think that you are doing an amazing thing that most people would not have the strength or patience to do. You are a great person who is doing something that will bless many people that are not as fortunate. I am 100% positive that this project will be successful, and even if it doesn’t turn into a feature film, it will be successful in helping the children of Cambodia. You have done so many things this far into this project; I can’t even imagine how many more people you are going to help! You are such an inspiration to me, and so many others. I can’t tell you how grateful I am, and I know that the children in Cambodia are so very grateful as well. Thank you so much CCR! We all love you! —Katie Benford

Although some believe that the problems in the world are too big for one person to solve, I believe that one person can make all the difference, that's why I'm part of the life project.  If I do my part to create positive change, it may influence others to do theirs, like a chain reaction; suddenly one person's good deeds becomes an army of goodwill.   I want my actions to be my words, so being a part of the Life movie is one small way that I can accomplish this.  I also encourage others to sponsor a child through World Vision International or any other non profit organization, it's an invaluable experience. Peace — John Vold

Dear CCR,
This movie is important because the children in Cambodia are suffering. We need to stop it andall the Children around the world should feel loved. They are just the same like us. From Cecilia Roessle

Hi, I'm Nichola Dana, If you can please excuse me I'm a little under the weather today. The reason I want to be an actor is because I would like to be a positive Influence on other Children, and someday maybe help them to achieve their goals and dreams. Thanks you for this opportunity with Life time movies — Nicholas Dana

I want to be in this film for a couple of reason. One is that I want to help people realize what is really happening in Cambodia - people there really need some help. Not a lot of people know it, but it's true; I didn't know until I auditioned and made it. Another reason is, well... I love to act. Acting is like a break from my life and everything I have to deal with as myself. I've always had a dream of becoming an actress, and now it's actually coming true. One last reason is I love being around the cast and crew; they're really amazing, especially CCR. She's always motivated, and has put a lot of work in this film.
I think I can help Cambodian Children through this film with the cast and crew by acting out what is actually reality. When or if this film shown to everyone, people will see what is happening and hopefully, how to help. By acting in this film, no matter how big or small my part is, I still help adding to the force and powerfulness of this situation in this film. We are all working every hard in it, which in time, may even save lives.
I have had a dream of becoming am actress for years. When I was little and my family watched movies together, I had acted by the TV repeating their lines and mimicking their expressions. I love acting because I like sometimes being an entirely different person; it's fun for me. Also, when I act at school in front of my friends, they say I have a great talent of my own, and it feels great to have this talent. So far, I enjoy being in front of crowds and sensing them watching me - it makes me feel special, and as far as I know, I haven't gotten stage-fright yet!
Anyway, I can't wait for when this film hits the big screen and I can't wait until maybe some Cambodia Children can sleep safe and happy at night. "LIFE" is the best! — Elise Goitia

There are many reasons why I would like to become an actor. In the LIFE movie I can do what I enjoy doing, while knowing I am helping the world with of its many problems. In this film, everything you see actually happensd in Cambodia. I wish to be in many more movie that are great like LIFE. — Tyler Rooker

Dear CCR
I'm writing this letter because I think this is a good way for other children in the world to know about how the poor children in Cambodia have to live in fear everyday of their lives. We need to help them by spreading the word thru this movie. I hope that someday these children can be happy and live like we do... FREE! love, Isaabella Roessle

Dear CCR,
The reason I want to be in this movie is because i want people to know how Cambodian kids are treated.  It is not fair for them to have nothing and us to have a lot.  They need help they can not survive there. We can help by giving them new things and toys too. I want them too be happy, clean, healthier to. They need to have a better environment.  They can make new friends.  We can help them by doing all this stuff!  Sincerely, Tyler Griego

Photobucket

Dear CCR,
I want you to know I really enjoyed being in the film and helping the Cambodian kids out there. I loved helping the kids out there that need our help. It's not right at all for the kids not to do anything to the world and they still have to fight over food or fight to live. This movie really opened my eyes to notice what is going on in other countries. Most Americans don't even THINK they are lucky to have a home or have food on the table. I know now that we are lucky.

When I get older, if I'm blessed enough I really want to take a trip to Cambodia and volunteer my time to helping the Cambodian children.  That is how much this movie has touched me.  I will never forget this wonderful experience. I would of said this at the warehouse like everyone else but I get stage fright speaking in front of other people. I am VERY sorry about this. I want to make a difference in other lives by letting everyone know about this in Cambodia. I am spreading the word to other people at my school. I know I am making a difference by being in this movie.  Sincerely, Michaela Griego

Hi CCR,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play in Life movie, it was a very great experience, and was a good way to show the nation about other country's different cultures and such. I was born in Europe, finished my theatrical college in 1992, after college, I came to USA and got married, my life then took a different direction since then, and I am now trying to put myself back together and follow my dream of becoming a professional actor since I was a child. My goal is to make a positive impact in the filming industry, help those in need, and give to the community, help new actors to learn new techniques and more. It was a pleasure to work with everyone, and especially you.  Sincerely, Daniel G Ganea

Photobucket

Dear CCR,

I enjoy acting because I get to experience many things and express myself in many different ways. But most of all, I love being a part of something that gives back to society. The LIFE movie shows us the tragic lives of many children in Cambodia. It is a story that everyone needs to become aware of.

In my mother’s country, Indonesia, I know for a fact that many poor parents starve their youngest children. Then they rent them out to the professional beggars who take the children to tourist sites and beg for money--supposedly to feed the children. Everyone needs to understand the plight of children in 3rd world countries. We need to work together to get governments, like the ones in Cambodia and Indonesia, to ensure the safety and well-being of their children. I hope that the LIFE movie will be seen by millions of people. I also hope that these people who see the movie will recognize the crisis that the children are in and work with organizations and their government representatives to find ways to protect these children.

I wish to thank the director and producer of this movie for allowing me to participate in this very important project. I hope in the future to be involved in many more such projects. It is important to me and my family to help children be allowed to BE children. Children need to feel secure and need nourishing food during their developing years. These are important projects and the people in this country and the rest of the world need to know these stories.

I wish all the best to CCR and the LIFE movie crew and I hope they find a sponsor at one of the film festivals that it is shown at.

GOOD LUCK!!  Much obliged, Monty Gaither Jr.

About me:

The LIFE Movie is a story of a young, compassionate female reporter in a man’s world who struggles against all odds to report the hideous details of abuse and corruption of women and children in her nation.  Throughout the story, she has to fight to give these unfortunate people a voice amidst her country’s suppression. Even when her life is threatened, through continual sacrifice she refuses to give up.  LIFE Movie is about following a dream and not giving up no matter what happens, no matter who breaks you down.  Because LIFE is about the passion of having a mission.
