Life of a bboy, was a real inspirational piece of Theatre,
It not only embraces key elements of hip hop and the culture that all bboys and girls can relate to, but it strikes a cord within everyone who goes to see the show, as they sit there, learning about 3people, from 3 different worlds, coming together and making something of themselves. Its a real feel good show, with amazing talent at its heart.
In this day an age its hard to get kids and adults through the theatre door this show not only gets the young and the old in, but it gets the teenagers in too not only entertains them, but inspires them feel like they can achieve something no matter what their background.
The people in this show are not from a Theatre school, but they sure have great lessons they can teach.
I was uplifted, felt part of the show and felt proud of the boys on stage and everything that they have achieved.
This is why Life of a BBoy needs to continue touring, people need inspiration and the future of theatre lies in getting teenagers and kids through the door.
Well done to all involved, its a beautiful piece of work.
Finally lovely to see the cast do questions and answers at the end of what must be a tiring show, and then spend time with the fans in the foyer encouraging the kids to dance and signing autographs.

Hip Hop International presents the 2007 World Battle an in-your-face Bboy battle for the baddest Bboy crews on the planet. The World Battle takes place on Sunday, July 29th in Los Angeles in conjunction with the World Hip Hop Championship. Top qualifying crews from the USA Battle will face International Bboy crews from over 15 countries for the World title, international bragging rights and a share of $5,000 in cash and prizes ($3,000 in cash), POEONE will once again be the Battle Coordinator and Head Judge, any questions or inquiries can be sent to POE @ GSeveneleven@aol.com.
The Funk Styles Room will be hosted by Don "Campbellock" Campbell and Sam "Boogaloo Sam" Solomon. There will be both a lockin and poppin 1 on 1 and 2 on 2 battles with the winners of the 1 on 1 battles to showcase with Don and Sam at the World Hip Hop Championship Finals on Sunday night.
This three day event includes panel discussions with respected living legends and icons of hip hop dance, a funk styles room for traditional old schoolers and the Urban Moves dance workshops presented by the most celebrated hip hop dancers and choreographers. Above all, crews will have the opportunity to meet and connect with others from around the world who are equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance.
