    Life Rolls On is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that exists to be a grassroots resource for young people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injury (SCI). LRO utilizes action sports to push the boundaries of possibility for those with SCI. This is exemplified by the Life Rolls On ambassadors, who personify a message of achievement in the face of extreme adversity. Through individual extensions of courage, whether it be surfing, motocross, wakeboarding, chairskating or dance; LRO ambassadors are living life to the fullest, shifting paradigms and leaving a path of change wherever they go.

    Three Main Areas of Focus

    1. THEY WILL SURF AGAIN (TWSA)-

    Our flagship program, TWSA is an adaptive surfing program for those with spinal cord injury and a life changing volunteer experience for all.

    2. INJURY OUTREACH AND BEING A RESOURCE -

    We are regularly contacted by individuals who have had family members and friends sustain a spinal cord injury. During this traumatic and overwhelming time, Life Rolls On can be a resource. LRO feels that early outreach and communication immediately post injury can have a positive and meaningful impact on all those affected by the injury.

    3. MOTIVATION AND AWARENESS -

    Shifting paradigms in the general public, and amongst those with spinal disabilities, that life with a spinal cord injury, does indeed "Roll On." A message of overcoming obstacles in the face of extreme adversity.

    They Will Surf Again, a no-cost program underwritten by Life Rolls On and generous sponsors, is the flagship program of Life Rolls On. TWSA utilizes a surfing experience to push the boundary of possibility for those with SCI. Injured athletes from around the country gather together for a day of surfing. Some have not surfed since their injury, some have never surfed, some surf all the time despite their varying mobility. TWSA connects dozens of volunteers, with a handful of injured individuals, together for a day of excitement, joy, and best of all, surf!
