    Life Rolls On is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that exists to be a grassroots resource for young people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injury (SCI). LRO utilizes action sports to push the boundaries of possibility for those with SCI. This is exemplified by the Life Rolls On ambassadors, who personify a message of achievement in the face of extreme adversity. Through individual extensions of courage, whether it be surfing, motocross, wakeboarding, chairskating or dance; LRO ambassadors are living life to the fullest, shifting paradigms and leaving a path of change wherever they go.

    Three Main Areas of Focus

    1. THEY WILL SURF AGAIN (TWSA)-

    Our flagship program, TWSA is an adaptive surfing program for those with spinal cord injury and a life changing volunteer experience for all.

    2. INJURY OUTREACH AND BEING A RESOURCE -

    We are regularly contacted by individuals who have had family members and friends sustain a spinal cord injury. During this traumatic and overwhelming time, Life Rolls On can be a resource. LRO feels that early outreach and communication immediately post injury can have a positive and meaningful impact on all those affected by the injury.

    3. MOTIVATION AND AWARENESS -

    Shifting paradigms in the general public, and amongst those with spinal disabilities, that life with a spinal cord injury, does indeed "Roll On." A message of overcoming obstacles in the face of extreme adversity.

    They Will Surf Again, a no-cost program underwritten by Life Rolls On and generous sponsors, is the flagship program of Life Rolls On. TWSA utilizes a surfing experience to push the boundary of possibility for those with SCI. Injured athletes from around the country gather together for a day of surfing. Some have not surfed since their injury, some have never surfed, some surf all the time despite their varying mobility. TWSA connects dozens of volunteers, with a handful of injured individuals, together for a day of excitement, joy, and best of all, surf!

    Hey guys! I'm a BIG supporter of the Life Rolls On Foundation. I love that there is people out there giving people the chance to surf again. It's awesome, I put the profile on my top friends, and added a banner to my page.     Thanks for the friendship! Although my daughter has spent her whole life in a wheelchair due to Cerebral Palsy, I can certainly empathize with all disability. There is hope out there....I know, she is an honors student in college and off on her own,thanks to some great support, and you certainly have mine ...Peace and Love

    Hey LRO! I have surfed all of my life but since my accident 2 years ago I didn't think I would ever get out in the water again. Because of you guys, you have made it happen and have surfed twice with LRO and had just as fun a time as I did before. So thank you to everyone who made that happen! I fractured my T10 and was paralyzed immediately from a motorcycle accident in Dec 07. I am an incomplete and can feel and move my legs but still need a lot of work. I have a lot of nerve pain and just got some botox injections to help with pain and muscle spasms, which seem to be working a little bit so far but I would like to see all of my options out there. If anyone knows any treatments, facilities, etc I can do or any info, I would highly appreciate any knowledge given! Thank you very much!
