Yeah, I really want to read more of Chuck Klosterman's work.
It must be sad losing in touch with friends. That always really really sucks. It's hard when you move like that, too. Have you met some people in Houston that you like, though?
Oh, well it's understandable that the divorce wouldn't bother you as much considering you've gone through it before. But I can see why not having a real mother could get to you. And that really sucks about your mom. I can't believe she would do that while your sister was there. Hasn't your dad always been pretty difficult, though?
Oh, I'm sorry, then. Did you like Arlington better?
I'm really sorry about your parents. My parents are as well, my dad is miserable too. Are you upset about it? Other than your dad's reactions, obviously.
That's funny about Favre, though. How are things going for you guys?
Sometimes looking at old pictures of yourself can be really depressing. I have felt like that before; sometimes even just looking at pictures from a year and a half ago.
It's really cool that you're learning Japanese! Is it hard? How long have you been learning for?
My best friend moved to China for college at the beginning of september. .she's coming to visit in February, I think, but she's staying there for a few more semesters. It's hard being away from her, but it's really amazing she gets to do that.
But I'm really happy to hear that you're financially stable. That's always a good thing.
I'm doing okay. I'm on winter break right now, so that's really good. I've just been hanging out with friends and my boyfriend for the most part, though I did go to Louisiana (obviously)to visit family. Blahh. I'm really kind of unhappy about the fact that I don't write anymore. I haven't written consistently in almost six months (that's the longest I have gone in five years) and it's kind of depressing, really. I feel stupider and it's hard now that it's new years. I generally look through all my journals over the past year to see how I have changed and grown and it really bothers me that I can't really do that. I'm doing well in school, though, and I'm getting along with my family pretty well. I REALLY need to find a new job, but not many people are hiring right now. I'm reading more though. I just finished Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman and I really liked it a lot.
