Welcome to the world of Life Sentence - quite possibly the Shitkickingest hXc sing-along band in the UK.
Life Sentence have been festering away the last six years and this winter marks the release of their debut album, Doctor Death: 11 tracks of hooky, punchy, ball-busting metal/rock of the most fearsome kind. What you need to do is get yourself along to a Life Sentence gig right about now to experience the sweaty devastation these songs leave in their wake.
Here’s what to expect: An unbroken assault of pounding rhythm; a maelstrom of squalls, howls and grunts from the dual guitar onslaught; and vocals that will leave you reeling. Add the layers of harmony, the roars, the stops, the relentless energy and the heart-rending screams and you’ve got yourself a Life Sentence show.
Having been in Metal Hammer and Rhythm Magazine with their previous EP Chaos Theory, as well as being played on Radio One and Xfm. Not forgetting their interview with KMFM's very own Richard Walters after making it into the final of their Battle of the bands...2007 looks like its going to be a busy year for Gravesends Life Sentence.
