About me:

I am a 52 years young on most days with a few 150 yr old days thrown in there at random. I worked as a registered nurse for 24 years but no longer work actively in the nursing field. I enjoy meeting new people but only if they are upfront and honest... I don't have the time or energy to play silly mind games with people .I am a kindhearted person sometimes too much so but prefer to believe the best in people until they prove otherwise. I try to treat everyone the way I would want to be treated and expect the same courtesy extended. Don't be mislead by the fact that I am no longer a member of the public workforce and think that I have no life . I stay very busy . For the first time in my life , I have the time to enjoy the things that interest me ...my family and friends...enjoying nature.. designing jewelry...sewing...my flower garden...my home... i enjoy going out with friends to dinner, the symphony, ballet, theater,arts/ craft shows and sporting events as well as just about any event rolling into town ...time and money permitting . My best friend is a Simon (my 80 lb husky mix).. he has earned this distinction by his unwaivering loyalty and love . I have been divorced for 10 yrs and have found I would rather live alone than live with someone that I was unhappy with and thus am in no hurry to change that status unless I can find someone who makes my heart sing. I have rediscovered my love for writing since coming to myspace via the blogs and have found that it is very soothing to the soul to write about the ups and downs in my life and to share those thoughts with others so any who come to my site are welcome to read my blogs. They also will help some understand who I am inside.I don't claim to be a great writer but do write from my heart and to me in the end that is what it is all about as well as it helps me decrease my stress when I put it in black and white so please bear with my musings.
