About me:
About me...one always wonders what should be said here, right? :-) I'm Tiffany, the editor and creator of Lifted Magazine. I love the outdoors (esp. rock climbing & geocaching), love to travel with my husband and our Newfie and think I am a pretty laid back person. lol
And what is Lifted Magazine? It's is a free independent online magazine, created to give Christians an alternative reading option amongst the usual chaos. The magazine covers a wide range of subjects including faith, relationships, college & careers, entertainment, food, travel & outdoors.

Who I'd like to meet:
Bands & Musicians
Bands who are interested to get some free publicity. We are always looking for bands to write reviews about so if you're interested, just send me a mail or add me to your friends. It may take a while to get thru everyone but if you have your music on myspace or your own website then obviously we will be able to review you much sooner. ;-)
Writers
We are constantly looking for new writers to provide content for Lifted Magazine. There is currently no paid compensation, but we look forward to changing that.
We are seeking articles on the following subjects (word counts and further details can be found here) :
Faith: scripture insights, personal testimonies, devotions, product reviews (i.e. bibles, books), etc
Dating & Relationships: advice, tips, experiences (i.e. with dating sites, dating as a Christian), etc.
College & Career: tips on getting jobs, life in the workforce, how you got where you are today, college related stories (fitting in there, college life, transitions), (articles on parenting will also be considered here, esp. regarding balancing children and life/school/work), etc
Travel: city guides, hot spots, unique places, experiences, gear, etc.
Food: recipes, gourmet or simple cooking tips & experiences , product reviews , etc
Entertainment: reviews of books, CD's, and movies, special events & concerts, etc
Fiction: short stories, poetry, book excerpts

Comic & Anime Artists
In addition, a comic or anime artist is desired to supply a monthly strip and/or single comics. If you have any work you are interested to submit, please let us know.
