Dalle ceneri di formazioni piu' o meno mitologiche e variegate proveniente dal sottobosco dell’underground milanese (She-Devil, SDA, GAS, Reality, Franziska) nasce una band che va diretta al nocciolo del problema: far gridare le chitarre, tirar giu' i locali con live coinvolgenti ed esplosivi e dal tasso alcolico alterato…il suo nome e' Ligera ’73.
Ad alimentare il motore dei Ligera non sono solo grappa e birra , ma soprattutto tanto divertimento: brani originali e un pugno di cover che miscelano punk rock, psycho e un po’ di blues con Nanni Svampa e gli Who, ma soprattutto Motorhead, Jerry Lee, Sex Pistols, Meteors, Rose Tattoo... filtrati e distillati in puro stile Ligera.
Liriche rigorosamente in italiano (con svariate incursioni in dialetto meneghino), ma nessun debito verso l'italico "alternative".
Uscito a novembre 2005 su etichetta “Fai da Te” records il primo cd intitolato “Meste' da ufo”. Dopo svariati concerti in terra meneghina e non,nel mese di marzo 2009 esce il loro secondo lavoro "ATTO II PORTAROMANAROCKERS" puro rocchenroll style targato ligera 73!!! a luglio 2009 entra a far parte della band come chitarra solista Ivan Smirnoff, gia' chitarrista e vocalist dei follow me linda....che dire..l'avventura ligera continua ad ogni concerto!!! e se deve essere rocchenroll...che rocchenroll sia! ALAAAAIIIIVVVVVV!!!!!
