Ladies And Gentlemen. You have arrived at base camp of the recently inaugurated Light Brigade. This is only a temporary set-up of camp until supplies are delivered from elsewhere. This will look more like a home from home very soon...Promise!!!
Light Brigade Dossier:
Who are we then? A band alliance based in London infusing Indie Rock with elements of Electronica. Very hooky melodies float above Live and Pre-recorded recorded samples with swirls of Synth to create some catchy music.
What would you say we stand for? In a word, Hope! About being young and growing up, frustrated with certain things around us and wanting to make something of it all rather than settling with what you're given.
How can you back certain bold statements up, dare you ask? To make your own critical assumption, listen to the songs on our player. We have recently been in the studio recording new songs with producer Steve Musters (In-house producer at Island, Credits include; Tricky, Ladytron, Tom Vek, PJ Harvey), and also at Olympic Studios no less, with George Renwick.
For a chance to hear the full aural assault live, keep checking back for details of forthcoming live operations.
I think I may have missed that gig...Hope it went well! I only got back from Spain in the early hours of Monday morning and I'm off gain for the Benicassim festival early tomorrow - I'm going to die of exhaustion but it's so worth it!
I'll definitely come see you at some point when I'm in the county :P
Haven't heard anything from you for ages. I searched for your name in my friends and couldn't find it at first. I panicked and thought you had called it a day ... then I was relieved to see you hadn't.
Any chance of a visit up here sometime? The Brickyard in Carlisle is a great venue. I saw TCTC there recently, and The Datsuns!
