UPDATES... May 24- See some updates in the “on the catwalk” album, from the latest Naked Without Us Fashion Show. March 16- My friends and I spent last weekend out camping in the great outdoors. Check out the new album to see what my camera saw! February 25- I don’t do weddings as THE photographer, but I do love shooting pics at them for fun. Check out some new ones from my friends’ Valentine’s Day Opryland wedding. Congrats Maci and Sambo! :) December 13- I recently did a huge photoshoot for a team called the Way to LA. July 19- Sonshine Music Festival is going on this weekend in Minnesota. A bunch of my pictures can be found in this year's program! yay! July 16- I'm re-organizing my live music photo albums a bit. I am so enjoying seeing so many bands using my pictures! YAY! July 7- Whew! Just got home from a week at the Cornerstone Music Festival in Illinois. It was as awesome as it was exhausting! April 26- It's been a great GMA week around here in Nashville. My camera has been having lots of fun at all the showcases! February 26- THANKS to all the bands that have been using my pictures. January 10- Some pictures of mine from the Luna Halo show on New Year's Eve found a spot in Nashville newspaper All The Rage, and in the online albums of The Rage and The Tennessean. This kinda stuff makes me happy! :) December 1- Wow. I haven't updated in forever.. Stuff HAS been going on, but i've just been re-organizing a bit. I finally got my new camera, a Nikon d40x and i'm really enjoying it. I'm in the process of transforming this site, so stay tuned.. April 22- New pics soon of Butch Walker from last week in Nashville and the DVD-taping show in Atlanta. It was amazing stuff!! April 12- Some promo pics I did for Billy Buchanan ended up in the March issue of Christian Musician, and in the Jan./Feb. issue of Campus Life. Sweet, eh?!

About me: “Light in the Darkroom.” It took me awhile to come up with a name to cluster my photography happenings into, and I finally came up with this. Take it how you will, from being something that brings out images that might not otherwise be seen (more towards what I was leaning to), or what happens when the idiot who opens the door to the darkroom ruins all the images. Either way, I’ll let you be the judge..
I am in love with pictures. Taking them. Making them look cool. Looking at them. [Sometimes] even being in them. The ability to use a magic box to freeze time and capture a moment with just the push of a button seems like it should be way beyond the average joe. But it’s so simple, and so amazing.
I like taking pictures of the good times, so I can refer back to them when the times aren’t so cool. I take pictures for some very cool people, so that they and others can always remember points of life. And I take pictures of neat things that I come across, to try and show a beauty of the world that has been lost over time to things of a more confused, complicated nature.
So while I might not always capture the best-angled, sharpest, vibey-est (?? Anyone up for scrabble?), most amazing in every quality picture that is edited to professional perfection, I just like to share what I see thru a lens with the world. In a perfect world, I’d love to be able to print the images of our eyes and minds, but for now I’ll use my camera to try and come as close as I can.

Watch the video of my Atlanta photoshoot with The Way to LA team!! It was an awesome shoot and they did a great job putting the video episode together. Plus, it features a song from one of the best bands ever- The Worsties. :)
