   About Light of Doom
LIGHT OF DOOM
Originating from Southern California, Light of Doom is far from what they appear to be with straight up rock & roll riffs under dynamic dual vocals these teens have decided to branch off from what most kids their age are playing & dive into something deeper. In the summer of 2005, Mitchell & Dillon first met at Exp studios in Escondido California. After weeks of jamming together they decided to form a band. Two years and many bass players later Lucas & Daniel joined the band completing the lineup. In 2007 they spent several months competing on the Fox TV show “The Next Great American Band” where they took 4th place. Soon after the show they decided to part ways with their lead singer. After the show, the band went through a complete style change and after months of searching for a new singer they decided to do it themselves. Soon after they went to work and wrote several new songs and preformed them live at a gig with Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster, A Static Lullaby, Attack Attack & Confied. They recently flew to Florida to record a 4 track demo with Kelly Scott Nunn of Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster who recorded and produced it. Only time will tell what is in store for the band. They continue progressing and are more than ready for whatever comes their way. One thing is for sure though they are all extremely thankful for all their homies & fans sticking with them and supporting them for so long.
