About LIGHTS AND SOUNDS

Fronted by 17 year old Max Britton, Lights and Sounds are one of the most exciting young bands on the scene right now and they are certainly causing a big stir. They only formed in Feb last year and have already racked up nearly a quarter of a million views on their myspace which is a huge amount for a band that have had no press or radio as yet. It means that a lot of people are talking about them and the word is spreading fast about their incredible songs and inspiring performances. Their plan for 2008 is to be on the road playing to as many people as possible and they are already selling out venues in towns on their first visit. They are bright, young commanders of a brand of unique 'indie-pop' their sound is built around a backbone of pumping piano and acoustic golden pop melodies, lullabic vocals and shimmery instrumentation. Get ready to hear a lot more from this band. Lights and Sounds debut single 'By the City Lights' is due for release in May.
