Lights on Fire is what rock singer-songwriter Joyce Lee always wanted...a groovy, hard-hitting and edgy rock-n-roll band that mixes the best of the 90's, metal, blues and tops it all off with splashes of guitar innovation.
Seeking to move away from her acoustic solo work for a more plugged-in rock sound, frontwoman Joyce Lee started jamming with drummer Adam Peck from Ronin, revamping some of her songs for a deeper rock sound. Soon after, Ronin frontman/guitar player Brian Peck joined the group adding a little more grunge and punk into the mix. Rounding out the band's sound, the group welcomed guitar player Herman Jimenez (formerly from the metal bands Shifter and Deity) and the rest is in the making...
Together, this band has created an edgy and well-rounded rock n' roll sound melding musical influences of alternative greats like the Smashing Pumpkins, the progressive raw sounds of bands like Tool and the soulful melodies of greats like Jimi Hendrix. Topping it all off with Joyce Lee's soaring, strong and sensual vocals makes the music of Lights on Fire rock n' roll magic.
