Lights on the Highway is a four piece band that joined together in the early summer of 2004. After playing gigs in Iceland for six months they recorded their first album titled "Lights on the Highway". The album was released in July 2005 and was well received in the Icelandic rock scene, counting two radio hits "Long summer Dining" and "Jameson's state" among its songs.
After touring around Iceland for a few months, LOTH did a two week tour in and around London which included a gig at the famous Marquee.
For the past two years Lights on the Highway have been busy creating new material for their second album. They have recently started to test their new material on a live audience and have been well received.
Their second album, Amanita Muscaria, is due to be released early July 2009.
