Secondly! Unfortunately we had to cancel our September tour with Sunday Night Scene and David Reed BUT we are currently in the process of putting together a tour in October with Stages & Stereos (Ocala, FL) and Just the Kid (Quad Cities, IL) which we are very excited about.

2009 Lights Out Dancing...

Created in May of 2007, Lights Out Dancing is a Powerpop/Pop rock group out of the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lights Out Dancing formed when the four ex-members of a local touring band teamed up with vocalist Danny Luebke. “He just fits right in” says guitarist Scott Baker, “both his musical talent and his personality were exactly what we were looking for.” With the arrival of Luebke the newly formed band knew they were ready to make their music their life.

In August of 2007, after teaming up with producer Jordan Schmidt (All Time Low, Sing It Loud, The Morning Light), and Sterling Sound, the band independently released their first record, the five song EP entitled “Oh, the Places You’ll Go.” Schmidt comments, "To date they are one of the best bands I've worked with. I'm very proud to say that I produced and engineered this record and can't wait to see where it goes." The record has been a great success selling over 15,000 copies. The record represents a compilation of ideas that the band members hold close to their hearts such as optimism, hope, love, and inspiration. Drummer Ryan Arndt commented, “We all put our heart and soul into every song we write, so it’s amazing to see such a good response from everyone.”

Noted for a highly energetic and entertaining live show, Lights Out Dancing is making a name for themselves around the country through a large scale of independently scheduled tours. A light hearted band always looking for a good time, they are not afraid to take their work seriously, always trying to find new ways to keep their music and image fresh and entertaining. “We are five best friends who love what we do and always do our best at it.” Guitarist Mike Haase sums up, “It’s like we always say ‘We take having fun way too seriously.”
