(This is an update to the last comment I made)
well...I'm finally mending from my sliding crash dump into Saturday: got some stiches pulled this morning, tomorrow, I graduate from a full cast, to a walking cast, have enough feeling in my fingers, so I can chicken-scratch my way through a letter, and I get my neck brace off on Wednesday...

I'm figuring I'll be ready to do it all over again by Friday.
