Originally a duet, Sara Griffin and Melissa Hall began playing together in the summer of 2005. It quickly grew into something much more when they added Jay Marcovitz on bass. And so Light Switch Decision was formed. They released their self-titled EP in November 2005. They recorded their song "Divide" for [Youth Owned Records] benefit compilation which was released this past April. In the summer of 2006 Jay was replaced by Chris (of [The Ultrasounds]). Just recently Sara and Melissa decided to add Jay back into the band as the bass player. Chris is no longer in the band (confusing, huh?) But they have added Tyler Kane from the past band [The Outfit]. The band is working on new material and in the near future will start playing shows again.
