Sez HangingHex.com:

"I never knew a heck of a lot about this band, but I had a general idea. What I didn't know is that they split up and this here isn't so much of a discography (as things are missing) as it is a collection of some rare and never released songs, as well as a few live tracks. This is the type of band that I would really like if it was just an ep, but like with most discography-type cd's it gets a little long and tiresome after awhile. LTFAR were of the hectic basement screamo variety, but definitely not in a 'shit my pants, fall on the floor and cry' sort of way. They just freaked out, played pretty crazy, but had a pretty good sense of structure and some good yelled vocals. Basically, they just rocked. But they still kept it rather nutty. Good for them. Weird lyrics. Not in a real abstract sort of way, just in a strange way of presenting the subject matter. Well, you get the idea. Their name sort of says it all. You know what happens after you light the fuse and run... a loud bang happens. And this is like hearing a shitload of firecrackers go off for a long time."

If Trouble Were Money (AKA The Real Cool Killers)

This song was written on purloined time, while thunder muttered to the north. Tonight, the city was alive. New air brought the kids out - even out of adults. The kids are alright, alright with broken plans. The kids are alright, alright with empty hands, and open doors that the night spills through, in a wind to pin you against your wall. It’s high time we made good on flirtations and wrapped something around the empty air of our promises. The kids are alright, with talking about doing. The kids are alright with never going, to linger like jilted lovers, cutting the negative spaces, occupied by hearts and hanging around our houses. Your life is what you make of it, and if you’re dead, you can’t resurrect it.
King Nothing

Jan 3 2006 5:09 PM

I remember that first time me and Yvo travelled the states and we saw you guys in Seattle at the Dirty Feet Mansion and then a week later my U.S. travels had ended you guys were about to start your European tour and we all hung out in Amsterdam in the Vondel Park and there were Spanish tourists on bikes out of their minds on mushrooms or whatever, and then one of you took a picture of some big Rastafarian dude's dog and he was all like 'what the fuck are you doing taking pictures of my dawg?!' and he took the camera and threw it in the pond. Those were some crazy days, haha, good times. I hope you all are well.

one of the best bands I heard in a long time. I always wanted to release something of theirs on ed walters. Either way. They were a great bunch of lads. Remember the snowball fight out front of Pirates Cove. Fun times...
