I like to write; I suppose it's what I do (in between mothering, teaching, ministry, life). I might publish some of it one day. And, perhaps when I'm done working on my latest labor of love I'll post it and share it with you.... If I ever get around to it. So I'm interested in creativity - God being the greatest artist of all. Therefore I am interested in experiencing every part of his beautiful creation whilst I'm still on the planet. One such beautiful creation would be humanity. I just love people, I can't help it... God was having a great day when he created man. Each one brings a unique flavor and aroma that enriches their world in a way only they can. People fascinate and inspire me. I love the great outdoors. Music - I love! Expressing myself... creating. Favourite pastime? Playing with my daughter. Hearing her laughter/fits of giggles. Watching her sleep. Everything about her, really. Knowing that she is beloved of God, protected, treasured.
One thing I admire most in this life is a heart that speaks the truth. It takes some people their whole lives to stop pretending.
Hearing a phenomenal message that revolutionises people's mindsets. But mostly- yep!- Spending all day in the presence of God.Spending all day talking to God, personal revelations, prayer,...it all adds up to intimacy with God. Sitting in my Jesus chair. Waiting on him. Loving him.
Then theres:
Sunrise, Sunset, Rain, thunder, lightening, walking bare foot on soft grass. Butterflies, dragonflies, real people (not just plastic ones!), dancing till my feet hurt, photos, letters, smiles, great hugs, beautiful shoes, the beach... sand between your toes, curling up with a thick doona on a cold rainy day, add to that hot chocolate and marshmallows. Sleeping in, getting up early, traveling - taking the scenic tour where you don't really know where you're going but you're sure you'l work it out and discover treasures unknown along the way.
Being anonymous, driving off into the sunset. Bonfires, coffees, family, reading, reading my bible, serving=the greatest position in the kingdom, fulfilling purpose, bringing heaven on earth.
My heart is: Broken Women. Ministering to women who have been through hard times and abuse and no longer believe in themselves, so that God can use me as a vessel to place value and purpose on their lives, giving them a glimpse of heaven. Showing them who they truly are.
*Kids - love them, could hang with them all day.
*Street Teams. Say no more. But it's not only our own Aussie backyard that pulls at the heart strings, it's the global one too = AFRICA!! But not just Africa, where oppression is at a high and liberty at an all-time low; I'm drawn to countries where the chains that bind are less obvious but just as oppressive. = EUROPE. That's where I'm headed, i guess!
I'm just interested in what my Saviour is interested in.... life - people. Loving them. That's what it's all about. And giving him all the glory. I love Brooke's line from the song 'Albertine,' ie 'NOW THAT I HAVE SEEN, I AM RESPONSIBLE. FAITH WITHOUT DEEDS IS DEAD.' Amen
"I GOT SOUL" - song by The Killers:

'Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-
When you see the naked to clothe him,
and not turn away from your own flesh and blood? - Isaiah 58
Music
Anything good. But for starters, WORSHIP - Hillsong, UNITED, Rueben Morgan, Darls, Brooke Fraser, Lukas, Rebecca St James, Delirious, Tim Hughes, Jason Upton, U2, The Whitlams, Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Switchfoot, Norah Jones, Keith Urban, Israel Houghton, Pete Murray, Alicia Keys, Misty Edwards, Eva Cassidy.
Movies
My latest love is Pride and Prejudice(!Laus)'Only the deepest of loves will ever persuade me to marry.....' Also The Notebook 'It still isn't over'..., Braveheart 'They can take our lives, but they'l never take our freedom!'..., The Passion, The Power of One.. To name but a few.
Television
Good baby sitter, is mostly a waste of time. Life is more interesting! I like light entertainment for chillin, something hilarious like Kath n Kim. Otherwise I really like watching docos on Discovery etc.
Books
Tuesdays with Morrie - all time fav, The Power of One, and Of course, anything by Jane Austen or Shakespeare (hey, I'm a girl!)Piercing the Darkness, Chronicles of Narnia when i was a kid, and still love it today. Can't go past Lord of the Rings, it's a must read, people! Apart from that, Joyce Meyer and John Bevere always have something worthwhile reading. But the BIBLE is the only book I can't live without..
Heroes
My Dad (aw), and my big brother coz he saved my life wen i waz 13. Esther, Mary Magdalene. Of course Jesus, he is my ultimate hero, my knight in shining armour, my true love and treasured best friend. He gave it all, took my place when it should've been me

ISAIAH 40:31
About me: About me.. Love God, love people, love life. The love of God drives me to live life to its absolute fullest capacity. In brief and put in complete perspective - God took a life of complexity and broke it down, made it simple. In essence, that means this: that my relationship with Jesus Christ is the only thing that defines me. BUT for your sake.... I guess I'm down to earth, yet completely free spirited - nothing about me is containable. I'm completely open book, heart-on-my sleeve, open to interpretation and unashamed (most of the time!). I love to laugh. I love spending good times with genuine people. Random hilarity, spontaneous creative moments, I guess have to say I am a complete romantic. And a great procrastinator. Sadly, being organised has been a slow learning curve for yours truly! Anyways.. I love adventures (the choose your own kind). Personality type I guess would be sanguin-melancholy. Yeah, I know, it's torturous. You think too much, you think deeply about everything, yet you're going at a hundred miles an hour loving and taking advantage of every moment. So it's an 'I love everybody' type of world for me, where i spill my heart constantly, fall in love endlessly, look for the next fun thing to do, the next person to save, and God makes it all right in the end! Phew!
I value truth above all & I think being generous with your life is the best gift you can give. Just a smile can change someone's day. The best part of me is my daughter, my heart. She is my best! Love her more than chocolate. She seriously has the best hair on the planet - long beautiful curls. (hey, y didn't i get that?) Anyway, everything I have ever done has been for her... and always will be. She is my diamond, my earthly treasure. So yeah, my life is totally blessed by amazing people to do life with. and above all, by my Saviour. He is my all. There is no one else for me.... None but Jesus. For 'I count it all but loss compared to knowing him.' And I am so amazingly, unbelievably blessed to be in such an incredible house of God, Hillsong church, serving Jesus and growing in him. It is such a privilege that I get to do that! My goal in life? To give it everything I've got. To use the gifts he has given me to change the world, one precious life at a time. To be able to enter the gates of heaven knowing that I have nothing left, I used everything he gave me for his purpose and glory...... I think that once we know about injustice in the world, we have a responsibility to do something constructive about it, and not just wander around with our eyes closed. I mean seriously, we are not here for ourselves, people! It's all about others, looking outward, and upward. Pressing in to heaven, being touched by God so that He can touch lives through us. I believe in a generation that wants to make a difference in this world...and in having fun in the process.
Who I'd like to meet: Well I've met the author and finisher of my faith, so apart from Jesus?..... Anyone who wants to be met, really. Every face has a story behind it, a lesson to share, a heart to love and value to place on. I want to meet anyone who doesn't know Jesus so that i can introduce them and have their lives changed forever by his amazing love. But otherwise; if i really have to think about it... I'm definately always open to good friends, people who inspire and motivate, challenge and encourage. Also, Joyce Meyer, Nancy Alcorn, Robert Fergusson, Amanda Fergusson, Brian Houston, Bobbie Houston. John Bevere, Lisa Bevere, Donna Crouch, Reinhardt Bonnke, Nelson Mandela, Audrey Hepburn, Jane Austen, CS Lewis, Bono, my husband, the kids from the Watoto Children's chior - they are so incredible! Any future kids I might have, looking forward to meeting them... um, who else?? Whoever God puts in my world.
'I KNOW YOU BY HEART. YOU ARE INSIDE MY HEART.' - Frances Hodgson Burnett

Then she said her middle name is Wendy, how bizzare. So I started thinking bout weird things and one of them that came to mind was how you're related to Ned and I'm related to the cop that caught Ned :o Funnier still, I have no idea what the cops name was, should look that one up! Nevermind, just a dummy dum moment really. BTW is it rude doing that smiley? I'm actually serious on that one!

Hey Missy Awesomenessssss....
I just wanted to take a moment to put into written words what my lips are unable to speak. I truly believe with all that I am that the Lord personally kneeled down from his thrown one morning in late 2005 and blessed me with a gift that radiated his enormous love for me as his child. That gift was the blessing of my wonderful spiritual family. Lizzy my awesomness (I win again lol) sister I feel that you and I have grown up together from childhood just as biological sisters do, you share my dreams, desires, fears and deepest darkest secrets and you have Never once judged or looked down on me.You are and Always will be my PAUL and you know that babe...I am encouraged every day through your words and actions to grow spiritually and emotionally into the person not that the world sees in me but the person Jesus sees in me!
I am so grateful for all that You, Tigger(Kate), Jamie, Dan, Amy,Marama and of course my precious Nat have brought into my life.
