Helen has minor infamy on the international roller-ball circuit, following her dramatic expulsion from the sport. Renowned for her larger-than-life skating-rink persona and evident competitiveness, spectators were still shocked when she took advantage of an opponent's shaving injury to snatch a win in the final seconds of a key tournament match. In the immediate aftermath she is quoted as saying "I just don't see what all the fuss is about, it's the way of the game", however she has since denied that her actions were in any way an intentional attack. The sport's governing body RealProRo (FIRS-affiliated) barred her for two years, stating that "Helen's actions set a bad example to younger players. In light of our bid for inclusion in the 2016 Olympics, we must protect the sport".
A recent planned comeback was abandoned following rumours that Helen has been displaying increasingly bizarre and erratic behaviour. A counter-rumour suggests that the source of this rumour was the injured player herself, others assert that it is RealProRo that are determined to block her return.
Since a guest-appearance in Starlight Express in January of this year, there has been little news of Helen. She still has a small but determined fan-following, who assert on internet message boards that a career-change to pro-wrestling is in the pipeline. Certainly this would capitalize on her bad-girl image, but there has been no public confirmation and it should also be regarded as rumour.
What is certain is that Helen has become something of a cult figure and is sorely missed. A T-shirt campaign has been launched bearing the slogan "Say no to RealProRo: Let Helen roll", which are available from Cafe-Press.

hi there, yeah I've got gigs in London but they'll mostly be band ones. You can go to 'work' on my top friends list to see when we've got some lined up.
yeah the only thing that keeps me from deleting myspace right now is the fact that there are bands on here that i want to follow! blasted bands... but i figure one night of complete myspace bitterness will result in a deletion...
hi helen, thanks for the comment - glad you enjoyed it. It wasn't me larging it on the kopparberg dancefloor though, at least i don't think it was. I was tucked up in my tent wet, muddy, sober and cold by around 10pm, take care, gareth
You sad woman. Are you up to anything this weekend? A bunch of us are going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 if you want to come. Probably go tomorrow.
Don't make me come downstairs Helen cause you know I will! ...... well actually I probably won't cause that involves walking and I'm quite settled here in the office. Damn you for being one floor away!
I know... The pink hearts aren't exactly, well, tasteful, but they have been there for about seventeen years... I haven't 'myspaced' in ages. It's clearly all about Facebook...
We've been recording some new tracks with our recent member Matt on piano/vocals, if you have a moment please listen to one of our new tracks at http://www.roadtov.com/profile/15499
too cool for school. Wel a never really had u down as a librarian lol, dont even think i can spell it! but watever floats ur boat!Havnt seen u in years so a probs wont recognise u with ur long hair! xx
HELEN!!! i realize now... that this is not early enough to wish you a happy merry christmas... sometimes i forget about the time change... oh well...
but... RETROACTIVELY i wish you a joyous and merriment filled christmas... and that you got all that you could have possibly ever wanted for christmas!!!
I'm excited, I just found me a new myspace layout! If this boredom/having nothing better to do-ness continues, I may even consider putting some photos on facebook... Is it blasphemy to use such words on myspace? I am unaware of such rules... Guess we'll see! Are there no more drawings courtesy of artist-Helen? I miss them...!
I met Kyle and Lizzie tonight, hopefully not for the last time ever but I guess one can never be sure, and Lizzie was saying "Grant says he's been talking to Helen! I haven't even talked to Helen!" So I tried to get her to get a Facebook (so in fact she herself could put up her photos without Grant having to steal them) but it seemed like a hard sell, although she might just get a Flickr like Ben and Sean have. Anyway, there is no point to this story.
Hey Helen, Happy Birthday! I hope you're well. (I'm not, but I'm on the mend - stupid cold!) Anyway, all the best. Are you doing anything big by way of celebration?
I'm gonna say it now, while Myspace is reminding me, otherwise I'll forget and make an ass of myself. Happy birthday for the 25th!
Time. Space. Repeat. salutes you and your umbrella most heartily. Though you yourself are illiterate, the dog has typed some wonderful things to us in the past, and we all think you (and the dog) are wonderful.
Jeezo. I think you have to be the only Myspace friend of any real longevity. Thanks so much for popping in and grabbing the tracks on iTunes. I'm with you on the underscore. Nuances matter! How are things with yourself? Does your parental still think our music is just blips and bleeps? x
Well, for the first time in about a million years, I access your myspace on a computer that isn't about to die. Hence I hear your music. I like! I need you to enforce music on me - I'm lazy - I can't do it for myself.
Hi there. Cool! Rest assured we haven't embedded any satanic messages in our songs, so having them in your head shouldn't be harmful...:) If you email your address to communityoflearners@gmail.com, we'll sort out sending you an EP!
hi, girl , how are you ?
i am watching the world cup on my pc now ..what do you prefer ? attending the games in person, or watching them on television?
