Ils se retrouvent d'abord régulièrement pour des concerts improvisés au cours desquels ils invitent un ..MC anglophone... L'alchimie qui se dégage de ces sessions est immédiate et devant l'enthousiasme suscité par ce son ..jazz hip hop.. et le plaisir de le partager ensemble, ils fondent ..LIKE JAM....... Trouvant leur inspiration dans la musique d'OPUS AKOBEN, THE METRICS ou encore THE ROOTS, les ..7 membres de LIKE JAM.. créent une musique nuancée, parfois amère, parfois sucrée, soutenant des textes à l'esprit aussi ironique que cynique. .... Tout en continuant à développer son répertoire, le groupe fait quelques apparitions remarquées en 2007, notamment en organisant les « HIP HOP SESSIONS » à Rennes, concept où le combo joue les « backing band ». Remplaçant les platines pour se mettre au service de MC's et musiciens locaux, LIKE JAM trouve son public lors de ces jam sessions enflammées..... 2008 marque un tournant avec la sortie du ..EP « Check This! »..
