LIKI BOGOV is project of pagan dance music created by musician from St. Petersburg, who’re working in completely different styles. The idea based on the pagan truth, understanding of existence: All Gods is the aspects of one God. The man is the active beginning of him and realizes his will. But humanity is changing, civilizations came and go, and with it, changing the faces of Gods (that what LIKI BOGOV means in Russian).
Electronic help musician to show new vision of God’s faces, folk melodies and heavy guitar connect it with ancient, and appear a links of reincarnations. The music contain elements of different styles because world is impermanent, even God is impermanent, everything flow and change creating new forms.
LIKI BOGOV is spiritual deep music project. Cause of original, it can not exist in one subculture only. It’s same good as for exclusive gothic party’s, as for big folk and electronic music fests. Compositions build in a way, which makes music interesting for dancing and listening. Musician use their videos with ancient symbolic. It create stream of consciousness pictures. Concert shows can be with theatre or show group supported by painters and designers.
The project exists as a concert show now, but heaves planes to record an album soon and accept the offers.
