It all started in the cruel, rough and rugged streets of New Orleans, LA. Brandon A. Williams aka "Lil' Dookey" was born to Cynthia and Reginald Williams and raised as the 2nd oldest of 5 children, had to make due by all means. Always looking up to his big brother Phenomm, he learned alot at an early age, but running with his elder friends and family members lead him down the wrong path,(Jail).
Relocating to Bay St. Louis, MS in the early to mid '90's, the madness and the chaos continued. This lead him to drop out of school and end up with a 7 year sentence in prison at the YOUNG age of 16. It was then and there he realized and started utilizing his talents, which was "rapping". Receiving inspiring letters from Phenomm telling him to "calm down and when they let you go, we gon' make it happen" set his mind on straight. From there he knew that they couldn't hold him forever. Released from prison in Feb.'05, he jumped straight to recording everything he could, until disaster struck.
On August 28, 2005, he and fellow Mississippians along the Gulf Coast lost everything due to Hurricane KATRINA. Fortunately computers saved their music and in Jan. '06 he dropped his 1st Mixtape alongside his 2 brother-in-laws Lil'Herb & Lil' Hound titled "Comin' From Nothin". Due to separation caused by the storm, promotion wasn't as strong as it could've been, but we got a fire buzz along the Gulf Coast"! Lil Dookey now resides in Da "A" and is currently working on his solo project, "Itz My Tyme: My Cunfessionz 2 Da Streetz Vol.1". I feel like I got a point to prove and soon it will be proven! And in the words of my big broher,"WE GOT OUR OWN THANG, ya heard me"!!!
