Lilianna Zofia Wosko has been playing cello for over 20 years with primary focus on solo and chamber music performance.
She received Master of Music in Cello Performance at Chicago's Roosevelt University College of Performing Arts Music Conservatory in 2004. Since then she has been an active member of 'Tangata String Quartet' and 'Dolce Strings Quartet' as well as a modern jazz group 'Tomorrow Music Orchestra'. She also plays world music with 'Alma de Tango Ensemble' and frequently improvises with Chicago local jazz musicians. In addition she is a studio musician recording with Chicago's Ernie Hendrickson and Matt Hoffer. In 2007she recorded a soundtrack for Daniel Alexander's feature-length documentary 'Freeing Bernie Baran.' She released two of her own CDs: 'My Christmas' and 'edited to form..' with Thomas Faulds.

Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
