Kastriot aka KAS comes from a Kosovo Albanian backround.
Born in 1992 in Sweden, moved to Norway in 1993. Parents traveled from Kosovo
to Sweden in the beginning of 1992. Started listening to Hip Hop music at a very young age of 10,
listening to everything from N.W.A. to Bone Thugs'N Harmony.
His older brothers started writing rap music in 2002 with their infamous group; NSC (North Side Clique).
And as the youngest brother, he observed their concerts and studio recordings, inspiring
him to start writing his music of his own. This happened early in 2004.
Working on solo projects, and also collaborations with his brothers, made him improve
both his lyrical content, but most of all his amazing flow management. Known for his experimental flows,
he also featured R&B singers: Deba (Germany) and Joel (England), making him expand
his horizon even further than just Norway.
He participates and performs in concerts all over Norway, and also in Kosovo in the summer time.
He likes evey music style with hip hop, meaning he does everything from R&B Hip Hop to Underground Hip Hop.
And depending on the mood, he shares his life experiences in all of his songs.
Hip Hop is not only a hobby, it's also his life, and he will keep writing it as long as
he is able to do so. If you're looking for a rapper with a nastier flow than the scene
from the Borat movie where the fat guy is on top of Borat, KAS is your man!
