A group of women enjoying singing and singing with others
The Liltin' Lassies are a womens singing group based in Dunblane. It is a fun, relaxed, social group, and all women who enjoy singing are welcome to join! The group meets weekly on a Monday evening in Dunblane from 7 - 9pm, please see above for details of this. As well as meeting weekly, we also do occaisional gigs locally and meet socially. The Liltin' Lassies sister group Liltin' Lassies:THE SEQUEL now meets on a thursday evening in Dunblane Cathedral Halls from 7 - 9pm The group was started and is tutored by Amy Lord, a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where she obtained a BA (Hons) Scottish Music and studied under Gordeanna McCulloch, Alison McMorland and Brian McNeill. Amy tutors many groups all over the country and was in 2008, a finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition --------------------------------------------------------
