Did you see my kids? that said...the minor interests are: USC sports (all of them), music and since i am kind of a 30 sum geezer with the whole married with children vibe (1 boy, 1 girl and a low paying job-albeit better than a shoe salesman) well i buy my rock concerts on DVD now...although I DID see Morrissey @ the Hollywood Bowl in June 07. But for the most part...i keep the house clean and take care of my family...when I get the time..i work out and go to the batting cages for time alone...it is pretty limited time..

my music hasn't changed dramatically...but as much as I like Morrissey..I HAVE branched out and I think Interpol, Killers, Ladytron, Assemblage 23, Franz Ferdinand among others are just incredible bands these days...Green Day is always fun..it seems Blink 182 and Everclear were just 90s bands as they seem to have fallen off the scene completely..I still like most 80s and 90s bands...but there have been new bands for me..my ipod is just shy of 5000 songs...AND MY NEWEST ADDITION...THE STEELWELLS!!
The Smiths: How Soon Is Now?
depends on the mood..I can try to be smart and like intriguing movies..the ones you have to think about...and i can change gears in a NY minute to the stuff that you'd almost be embarrassed about...but..i typically like the influential movies: Field of Dreams, Hoosiers, Radio, Rudy, Brian's Song, Invincible, We Are Marshall, as well as Stand and Deliver and almost any film promoting teachers with exception to 187...although Samuel Jackson was impressive in his role..that is not my idea of a good teacher..
Television
the TV, like the sun revolves around a select few shows..back in the day it was Taxi, Cheers and SNL (depending on the cast),now..the only REAL shows that are worth a Mexican Peso are the following..the rest is validation for the amt of money you just got ripped off monthly...

Who I'd like to meet: I have come to the realization and maybe it is a good one...but...maybe not...High School was such a weird time...and I feel really bad...but as I looked over several people who went to my high school...I am almost glad that I didn't go to my 10th school anniversary...I don't know that I'll miss my 20th...I COULDN'T MAKE OUT MOST of the people that I saw on myspace...i felt like a total joke..and if I had gone to the reunion..that is all I would focus on...i mean..yeah I get it, it has only been 14 years...but still...people don't change THAT much...I mean..I am still one ugly mug hehehe..so...with exception of a fews of us guys who STILL look pretty much like we did in the days of yore...I'd like to see all of my friends again...so if you graduated from Troy HS in 1993 in Fullerton, Ca (not Fullerton, alabama hehe)
that said...I would have loved to have met Andy Kaufman...no, not because I just now saw the movie...but because..the more I learn about him as a comedian..the more ahead of his time I feel he was..I wouldn't mind meeting Kevin James and Adam Sandler as well..
BUT ...I GOTTA MEET THE STEELWELLS FIRST...I HAVE MET ONE OF THEM...IN FACT..I GOT INTO A FEW FIGHTS WITH THE FRONTMAN ABOUT 15 YRS BACK HAHA...JOEY WINTER...TOTAL PUNK!IT IS A FIGHT AS TO WHO IS THE BIGGER PUNK...JOEY HAD ALL OF THE 90S-00S PUNK WITH AN OCCASIONAL 80S BANDS..
I STARTED MY PUNK IN THE 70S WITH THE RAMONES, SEX PISTOLS, DEAD KENNEDYS, BLACK FLAG, THE DEAD MILKMEN, THE CLASH, THE VANDALS..AND THEN ALL OF THESE OTHER "PUNK BANDS" STARTED TO SHOW UP...YEAH SO WHAT IF I WAS ONLY 4? I HAD BABYSITTERS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE...LOL!
WE MIGHT BE TIED FOR HEAD SHAVINGS...BUT I MAY HAVE THE LEAD ON THAT ONE...
I like sports as much as I did back in the days and there are several athletes that I'd love to just BS with during Batting practice..hey don't screw with me...I can still hit well in the 80-90 mph batting cage ;)
Musically...I shook Morrissey's hand so that is taken care of...that was rather cool...
