   About lime chalks
y'alright, there?

in brief: we are the lime chalks, a five-piece pop group from birmingham and bristol. the mp3s you can hopefully hear as you read this comprise our debut ep, 'precow', which was recorded when we were a mere three folk strong. we promise to make some more recordings VERY SOON featuring all our new songs and both our new musicians.

our gigs are usually free entry so you really ought to come and see us, when the time is right of course.

for now: ciao.

love,
chalks,
xx

Book tickets here.

One of the highlights of the Vortex London Jazz Festival – TIME OUT

Featuring Fyfe Dangerfield (from Guillemots), Gannets posit an alternative jazz history in which 30's swing developed straight into a combined form of the free jazz and fusion movements, without any of the intervening decades.

Fyfe Dangerfield - keyboards + electronics
Alex J Ward - clarinet
Christopher Cundy - bass clarinet
Dominic Lash - double bass
Steve Noble - drums
