| General | Meeting friends, going out for a drink or two, light exercise (mostly for health reasons, not a big deal for me, but I do cardio intervals, my resting heart rate is around 40 bpm), music and some television (selective viewer!), playing chess, into everything I consider fun and interesting, trying to be serious, without being too pretentious. I am a vegetarian, but not a vegan, since I consume low fat dairy products, and a vegetarian for ideological reasons, but not a fanatic or a health freak. Just mildly obsessed =). Beer and wine is fine, as long as the BAC level doesn't exceed 0.06 %, or to put it in other words, in reasonable moderation. No illegal drugs for me, please. Not because they are illegal, but because I am such a party killer. =) | | Music | Too many names to mention here. House music, in the direction of deep house, not euro-trance! All kinds of funky club music. Hip hop, r&b. Lounge and ambient. Indie. Not a headbanger, punk rocker or a cowboy, but some of the metal, punk and country sounds cool, and can look cool as well, especially with females who are totally into it. And some people keep telling me that rock'n'roll will never die. | | Movies | Pulp fiction, Blue Velvet, Godfather, Terminator 2, Alien, Matrix and many, many more, of course. Even silly comedies, such as Napoleon Dynamite. I grew up in the horrible 80s, and the so-called Brat Pack movies and some of the other teen movies from that decade spark nostalgia, if not much else. (Uh , I think they are pretty cool, but don't tell anyone!) Due to experience, though, I choose to refuse the Norwegian movies. | | Television | Drug of the nation? I have read the book "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman, which made me think a little about my television habits, but I am not dead yet:) And of course, many of the most popular television series come from the United States, so it is a great way for us people in the rest of the world to learn English, or maybe rather, to know how those cool Americans use bad language and act like idiots.=. Some of the things I like to watch: HOUSE M. D. , LAW & ORDER, WEST WING, TRAILER PARK BOYS, CSI, LOST, DARIA (the animated MTV series) and a bit of sports, sitcoms and news. | | Books | Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain. Ironic, because he seems to hate vegetarians like myself: "Vegetarians, and their Hezbollah-like splinter faction, the vegans, are a persistent irritant to any chef worth a damn. To me, life without veal stock, pork fat, sausage, organ meat, demi-glace or even stinky cheese is a life not worth living. Vegetarians are the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit, an affront to all I stand for, the pure enjoyment of food." Yeah, right:=)
Other books? Oh yes, I have taken great pleasure in reading some of the French and Russian classics, and other classics, among so much else. I enjoy reading. It could be anyhting. Sometimes even the Bible. | | Heroes | Oh, so many, but I just wanna be cool. That's all! |

Here I am, or, as a matter of fact some place else, but at least this was written by me, sitting here behind my computer in my star trek uniform, waiting for MySpace to beam up some wonderful woman for me. Nah, kidding, hopefully that day will never come. Not literally, anway. Apart from that, I would like to get messages from anyone, females or males.
