“The melodies were engaging and the lyrics were quaint, Linc looked obviously thrilled to be back performing in front of such an enthusiastic crowd as he delivered rich introductions throughout his performance. The sheer potency of Linc’s solo performance stole the night” – www.thedwarf.com.au, 2008
Lincoln le Fevre and the Insiders are drawn together by the tales and talents of frontman and songwriter Linc le Fevre. There’s no mistaking Lincoln; the tall, humorous and charismatic guy stands out in the crowd, just like his well crafted songs.
Built upon long-term work starting many years ago, Lincoln’s songs speak heavy thoughts and truths that are undeniably relatable. With a voice that draws you in, intense as it is melodious, make no mistake, Linc le Fevre is an artist with musical integrity and a sense of honesty placed well in his music.
No gimmicks, no pretences, just real words and music. Songs that make you react, or reflect on passed opportunities, these are more than just great songs; these are stories that take you somewhere. When Lincoln tells a story, people listen.
Lincoln le Fevre and the Insiders’ performances have the intimacy borne of playing in small town pubs, cafes and lounge rooms, but can charm a crowd of thousands. Armed with a debut album "30-Watt Heart" and big sense of belief, Linc and the Insiders are rolling up their sleeves to play a most memorable show in your town soon.
The Insiders have just won 3 big gongs at the 2009 Amplified Awards including "Best Songwriter", "Best Blues/Roots/Country Act" and "Best Solo Performer". These awards only add strength to the fact that their debut album "30-Watt Heart" is a absolute cracker. Word is out people....
