Linda "Chocolate" Berthier can be easily described as vibrant and versatile! A motivated recording artiste, song writer and upcoming actress, former dance instructor, born into a musical family of 6 in St. Lucia. Chocolate discovered her love and talent for singing at church, and at the tender age of 5 wrote her first original.
She now holds the prestigious award 'BEST JAZZ SINGLE' for her Single "Feeling The Vibe" at The St. Lucia Music Awards 2008.
Chocolate is widely known for hitting the mic, executing accurate and spicy background vocals to various artistes such as Junior Tucker, Ron Kenolly, Sean Daniel, Emrand Henry and boldly and creatively gracing the regional and international stages, with artistes such as Deitrick Haddon, Donnie Mc Clurkin, Helen Baylor, Chevelle Franklin, Isaac Blackman & the Love circle, Papa San, DJ Nicholas, Stichie, Jamie Thomas (MVT Tempo’s “Rise and Shine” Video Host), just to name a few.
She became a household name via gospel radio since 2001 and presently Tv host of the Choice 'ACTII movie Family Series' on cable Channel 39. She has hosted and participated at Marlin awards (www.marlinawards.com), Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat Radio Host (Hollywood, Fl.) and the world premiere St. Lucia Jazz Festival main stages. Chocolate has her hands down as one of the top local gospel artistes and promoters in St. Lucia.
