About me:

My husband and I have been married over 16 years, Jan 26 is our anniversary. I am amazed at what God has done in my life and I feel so blessed to have Henry as my husband.

I have been with OFBMIC for over 18 years, and it is hard to imagine that at the beginning I thought I would only be here for a couple of years... I hope to retire from here, which means I have several more years to go.

Toastmasters has been a big part of my life since 1994. Such a great place to improve leadership and communication skills. Currently I'm a member of two clubs; The Governor's Club and Buffalo Talk. I got my DTM, in Dec 2007 by mentoring a new club The Boeing Plane Speakers Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Henry and I have two dogs and one cat. When we come home from work we are greeted with lots of barking and howling. Everyone must be loved .. But that is how they show their love for us.

I’m really into arts / crafts. I always have to be making something. I like to rubberstamp, scrapbook and make glass beads. I also like to sew just about anything. My “studio” is packed to the ceiling with all kinds of supplies. Most people are overwhelmed by all of the stuff I have in my room, it seems that I always need one more thing to finish a project. So off to the store I go. Thankfully I have a very understanding husband and I can also close the door… If you would like to see photos of my room check out lindaisrael.com ! I’m sure you will see lots of strange things. My room is always changing, in fact I think it is time to take new photos…

I am so blessed to be a child of God. There are so many things He has done in my life that I am thankful for. One I already mentioned – my husband. There have been so many times that I thought I would never make it though the day, but God was there to pull me through. He has always been my rock to lean on. There may be days when I think why me, then I also think, why not me? I know He has a plan for my life and every once and a while I get to see how He has it planned out. Now I just have to be patient and wait on Him.
