About Linda McDonald

I play, I TCB, and I play again. My world is playing music and band work....life's a bitch huh? I play with THE IRON MAIDENS, World's Only Female Tribute to IRON MAIDEN; the most fun gig I have ever had in my life other than my original band Phantom Blue in the late 80's - present. I LOVE touring and performing live! It is truly where I am happiest when I am on stage playing my drums. There is nowhere else I would rather be, except maybe on a private beach in Kauai with a rum and diet coke and some sashimi, macadamia nuts and a fuzzy dog.....*dreaming*... I've done some recent recording with Swedish band Meldrum. I've also recorded with an amazing guitarist from Argentina named Carina Alfie at Steve Vai's Mothership. Both CD's are due out this Summer. The Iron Maidens are releasing a Japanese EP/Live DVD combo on May 23rd as well, so LOTS OF RELEASES FOR ME THIS SUMMER! YAY!! I am a workaholic - *help* - Always looking for more. *GOT GIGS?* I am ready to work and come equipped with an extremely positive attitude. Life is good and drumming makes it great to be alive! I am joyously an endorsee of these wonderful companies: PAISTE cymbals, DRUM WORKSHOP drums, pedals and hardware, and VIC FIRTH sticks. :-) Welcome to my space. :-)
