Donnie was born with a tumor called Sacral. This was not cancer. At 9 mouths old Donnie had to have his 2nd surgery.

Anterior sacral meningocoele with sacrococcygeal teratoma is a rare entity. The cystic mass arising from anterior sacral and coccygeal defect, lies in the retrorectal space between the rectum and sacrum. It produces a variety of symptoms depending on its size and contents and constitutes a diagnostic problem. Such a rare association of two pathologies is presented, with review of literature, in an infant who had an anterior meningocoele with sacrococcygeal teratoma. Both the pathologies were surgically corrected individually, about a month apart.
Sep. 11, 01 ( of all days ) Donnie had his MRI and CAT done, this was done every 6 mouths to keep a eye on thing. He was to return 2 weeks later to see the Dr. Donnie was to have surgery the next day. It was after surgery we found out this time it was a cancer tumor. Donnie would then be sent to St. Jude in Mempis, Ten.

Sacrococcygeal Teratoma (SCT) is the most common tumor of the newborn, which occurs in 1 out of every 35,000 to 40,000 live births. Most sacrococcygeal teratomas diagnosed in neonates are not likely to be malignant, and the prognosis tends to be good after resection.

In 2005 Donnie test showed tumors in his Thymic.
Thymic Cancer is a cancer of the thymus gland or thymic tissue. The thymus gland is in the upper part of the mediastinum (chest) behind the sternum and extending upwards into the root of the neck. It is a small organ (reaching its maximum weight of about 1 ounce during puberty) that slowly decreases in size during adulthood and is gradually replaced by fat tissue. During fetal development and childhood, the thymus produces white blood cells, called lymphocytes, that travel to lymph nodes (bean-sized collections of immune system cells) throughout the body. There they help the immune system protect the body from infections..
The thymus contains two types of cells: epithelial cells and lymphocytes. Thymic epithelial cells are the cells that line the thymus, and are the origin cells of thymoma and thymic carcinoma. If lymphocytes become malignant (cancerous), they can develop into lymphoma.
There are a number of thymic conditions and the terminology often gets confused between them.
Donnie has been cancer FREE for 5 years. He still return to St. Jude for MRI and CAT. He has blood work done in Shreveport any time he get seen by him Dr. there.

KRMD radeo station in Shreveport, La. Donnie has been asked to help with the St. Jude Dream House Give-a-way. Donnie thanks hes something beable to talk on the radeo and all to hear him. Open house is in July and the house is given a way in Aug.

Dream Day Foundation (DDF) is a local non-profit organization qualified by the IRS and based in Baton Rouge, LA. The sole function of the Foundation is to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dream Day started when a local St. Jude patient, Danny Bozeman, wanted to go fishing. That single event created a fun-filled day for one child and his family. The excitement of the day led a group of businessmen to start Dream Day Foundation in 1994. Now with local board members and hundreds of volunteers, Dream Day Foundation has been able to contribute over a million dollars to St. Jude in their fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
Each year, Dream Day Foundation hosts "Fishin' Galore", a day filled with activities for the cancer patients and families of St. Jude in nearby Clinton, Louisiana. The day features fishing, games, rides, crafts and food. More than 1,000 people attend this annual event to celebrate life and gain support from one another.
The most recent Fishin' Galore was held this past May with the attendence of 94 cancer patients and 600 family members. Of these patients, 72 were from Louisiana while others were from Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia and South America. DDF also provided the overnight accommodations and transportation by bus for out of town family and staff members.
Thanks to the efforts of the Dream Day Foundation and contributions like yours, this special day is dedicated to their bravery, determination and willingness to beat cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Tanner gets sick Michell & Tory know I'm only a phone call and 3 hrs. away.

March of 2007 Joey Dean asked if I would put something together for him to do a concert and send the money to St. Jude Children Hospital. My answer was YES. No thinking about it.
Six months later we had our 1st annual St. Jude Fall Fest. It was held in Zwolle, La. on Oct. 20, 07. We sent a check for $5,000 to St. Jude.
Sept. 13, 08 Hurricane Ike made us to change our 2nd. event to Saturday Sept.20. I'm so very happy to say WE SENT A CHECK FOR $10,000.
Our event will be the 2nd Saturday of September .
