About me: i paint what i see and i see what i paint. everything is shadow and light and color and beauty is everywhere and scary things too, like war. i paint peace. i am too young and too old to be a hippie, but i will never give up on the belief that there can be world peace. i gave birth to amazing people. they surround themselves with other amazing people. I have hope because of this. I move forward with dignity and grace.
i am a montessori teacher to 3 to 5 year old children, and know they are the future. children are afraid of war if they live in it, the others play war on the school playground wishing they could be in it. no grenades here i tell them. they look guilty and say o.k. find a peaceful game to play, i say. in my mind i think, maria montessori was friend's with ghandi, she held peace conferences.
