I'm into all kinds of music but I mostly listen to R&B and Hip-Hop, To me inspiration can come from any number of things in a song. It could be anything from a small riff, to a cool beat, sounds, a drum loop, piano or guitars.
There are far too many sources of influence to name them all but a few spring to mind:
